The 16 year-old standout tweeted on Thursday after training confirming that he had rejoined Arsene Wenger's first team group ahead of their match against Crystal Palace this weekend.
Depending on his fitness levels and what type of team Wenger picks at the weekend and on Tuesday, Zelalem could be in line to make his debut against Chelsea at the Emirates in the Capital One Cup.
Arsene Wenger has often taken advantage of the League Cup to test some of his younger and more promising players, and he did just that when Arsenal visited the Hawthorns and defeated West Bromwich Albion in the last round.
Zelalem burst onto the Arsenal scene this summer on the first team's tour of southeast Asia and made the bench against Tottenham Hotspur earlier in the season before injuring his knee. Now that he is back in training and with the first team, he'll look to push on and continue making a name for himself.
Would you like to see the Zelalem play on Tuesday?
