FC Barcelona star Lionel Messi just can't stop being the man of the moment. The Argentinian was back to his best last night as his goal helped the Spanish giants knock Manchester City out of the Champions League knockout stage. With a 2-1 win on the night a 4-1 aggregate score, Barcelona advanced to the quarter-finals of Europe's elite club tournament.
Messi may have wowed just under 86,000 people at the Camp Nou last night, but on Thursday morning, the footballing great put smiles on the faces of eight unsuspecting fans and journalists when he seemingly crashed SWOL's Google Hangout discussing the Champions League.
Kay Murray (BeIn Sports), John Cross (The Mirror) and Grant Wahl (SI.com and Fox Sports) were all taking part in an expert panel and discussion based around this year's competition, when suddenly, the Argentinian appeared in the hangout. Though he only stuck around for several minutes, it was enough to spur an incredible reaction from the panel and fans involved in the hangout alike.
Check out the highlight of the hangout below as Lionel Messi pops in to give the group quite the surprise!
